Independent Infrastructure Advisory

The intelligence
behind
infrastructure.

Sokorro helps companies define, source and structure data center, network, cloud and AI infrastructure. We clarify the requirement, evaluate the market and stay through execution.

Your clearest path to the right infrastructure.

Sokorro turns complex requirements into clear technical specifications, identifies the most viable providers and focuses the procurement process on solutions that can actually be contracted and delivered.

01

Data Center Advisory & Procurement

Colocation, wholesale capacity, site selection and build to suit strategy shaped around operational and commercial requirements.

02

Network Infrastructure

Evaluate and source IP transit, private line, Ethernet, SD-WAN and cloud connectivity as one connected architecture.

03

Cloud & Bare Metal

Public, private, hybrid and dedicated infrastructure options compared against performance, control, resilience and total cost.

04

AI & GPU Infrastructure

Dedicated GPU capacity, managed inference, colocation and deployment models aligned with performance and scalability requirements.

Market access

The market, not a shortlist

Direct provider relationships and established channel platforms give Sokorro broad access without tying the recommendation to one vendor.

We separate marketed capacity from what can actually be delivered and focus the search on providers best suited to the requirement. Our experience and market reach create meaningful competition and help clients select a partner capable of executing through implementation and beyond.

Representative engagement

National broadcasting company

A sustained infrastructure relationship spanning market evaluation, consolidation, procurement and ongoing provider accountability.

Over nearly ten years, Sokorro helped the client establish a data center design standard across its portfolio and consolidate multiple facilities with lower density and high costs into two geographically diverse wholesale environments. The resulting infrastructure improved operating efficiency and performance while reducing overall expenditures by approximately 35%.

How we work

One requirement. The entire market. A defensible decision.

01

The requirement comes first

We begin by understanding each client’s needs across capacity, performance, resilience, timing and commercial objectives, then distill them into a clear technical specification. We then evaluate the market against that requirement, not the other way around.

02

Evidence over sales material

We distinguish deployable capacity from proposed capacity and test technical, operational and commercial claims before they shape a recommendation.

03

Vendor neutral evaluation

Sokorro represents the client requirement, not a single provider. We compare the available market and explain the tradeoffs behind every viable path.

04

Transparent commercial model

Sokorro’s advisory and procurement services are provided at no cost to the client. When a client contracts with a provider, Sokorro is compensated by that provider. Clients receive the same provider pricing available through a direct engagement.

05

Support through execution

We remain involved through evaluation, negotiation, provisioning and implementation, then continue supporting clients as requirements evolve, infrastructure scales and contracts renew.

Leadership

A small senior team with experience across software, infrastructure, operations, development, procurement and execution.

Kevin Francis

Founder & Principal

Kevin founded Sokorro in 2007 and brings more than 25 years of experience across telecommunications, data centers and energy infrastructure. He entered the data center industry with CRG West, later CoreSite, and has also owned and operated facilities through Altered Scale and developed large scale energy projects in ERCOT through Electerra. His commercial, operational and development experience informs Sokorro engagements from initial strategy through procurement and implementation.

Stephen Richardson

COO & Partner

Stephen brings more than 30 years of leadership across data center operations, design, construction and project execution. He has led platforms spanning 14 global facilities and more than 150 personnel, with responsibility for annual operating budgets exceeding $45 million. His development experience includes more than 350 MW across the Americas and EMEA, representing over $3.5 billion in project value.

Mario Nieto

Software & AI Infrastructure Advisor

Mario has spent his career in software development, translating technical requirements into systems that work reliably and efficiently. He has expanded that foundation into AI infrastructure, helping clients understand how software workloads, GPUs, data center capacity and colocation environments fit together. His focus is practical: align the workload with the right compute architecture, provider and deployment model while avoiding unnecessary cost and complexity.
